KT King was adopted from Korea in 1973 at eighteen months. She has her BFA from Syracuse and her MA from New York University. Kim is one of the founders of NJAAC / New Jersey Adult Adoptee Community. She has participated on adult adoptee panels for Concerned Persons For Adoption/CPFA, Holt International and AKA. Kim recently contributed her artwork and essay to the book, More Voices: A Collection of Works from Asian Adoptees, edited by Susan Soonkeum Cox. KT lives with her husband and two daughters in Central Connecticut.
